Welcome to the Talkington School for Young Women Leaders

Dr. Kim Perry

Welcome to the Margaret Talkington School for Young women Leaders!  I am honored to be chosen the first principal of the Talkington SYWL.  This is my 18th year in education in Lubbock.  I have been a middle school science teacher, a college-level instructor, science specialist and the district curriculum coordinator for science.  I have a great family - Todd, my husband of 17 years, is a history teacher at Lubbock High School, my daughter Kennedy is an 8th grader at Talkington and my son Kade is a 5th grader at Roscoe Wilson Elementary.  We enjoy doing things as a family, including sports events, traveling, playing games and watching movies.  I'm looking forward to another EXEMPLARY year at Talkington - we've added a freshman class who will be our first graduates in 2014.  You belong HERE!
